17 – Brooke Curran. We’re hoping for a speedy recovery for our friend Brooke Curran and we hope she can speak to us on April 17th. If she is not up to the task yet, we will have to schedule her for another date. In her place we will have Dede Bailer, “Mental Health Services in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)”
24 – Melanie Greenburg, CEO of the Alliance for Peacebuilding in Washington. DC – “Building Peace in a Turbulent World” sponsored by our International Fellowship Committee. Description: Melanie Greenberg, CEO of the Alliance for Peacebuilding, will shine a light on the efforts of citizens and governments around the world to build peace, and create societies resilient to violence, during a time of rising conflict and polarization. She will trace a line from “inner peace” and the revolution in neuroscience, to peace as global strategy. She will also talk about new narratives for peace, and how every one of us can become a peacebuilder.
